optionalxyz tracks a surrogacy journey from the first contract to the birth. Every stage (insurance kickoff, surrogate screening, egg and sperm donor selection, embryo creation and testing, transfer, pregnancy monitoring, birth preparation, contract and payment) has its own checklist, due dates and file thread.
- Journey stages — see what is done, what is in progress, and what comes next.
- Documents per checklist item — upload and review reports, contracts and scans in the stage they belong to.
- Messages and attachments — clients and care teams write in the same thread, in one place.
- Meetings — staff schedule video meetings that appear in Google Calendar.

Who it is for
Intended parents following their own journey; agency coordinators, supervisors and agents working on client journeys; and clinic or partner staff who need to see how a case is progressing. Access is by personal invitation or account registration, and each role only sees the journeys it is entitled to.
Data and privacy
Each organisation and its clients run in their own isolated environment with its own database and file storage. Accounts are protected with per-user passwords and optional two-factor authentication; documents are stored in private object storage and served only to signed-in accounts that own or work on that journey.
